There are a lot of diets that claim to be the fastest way to lose weight that i have tried and whilst some of them have worked, most of them haven’t! Diets are a state of mind and whilst you can try and find diets to lose weight fast, they will only work for a short period of time. Believe me I think I tried them all. I once done a raw food diet for a week and I was seriously thinking about turning it into a change in lifestyle. I was seriously contemplating the idea of only ever eating raw food for the rest of my life. You see when I started the raw raw diet, I really did feel so much better and found it was the fastest way to lose weight. You see thinking about it, are we really meant to eat cooked food? Thousand’s of years ago they would not of been able to cook their food, so it stands to reason that perhaps we are not actually meant to eat raw foods and certainly not processed foods.

There are several reasons why raw food is good for you and probably the fastest way to lose weight. The first being that, if you only ever eat food that is not cooked then you are taking out all salt and sugars that is normally added to food. Sugar and salt is found naturally in some foods, so we shouldn’t really be adding it in again anyway. Another reason is, if your not cooking it then you are not using fat which is used so often in cooking.

If you are only eating food that is raw, sure your not going to eat meat, well unless your a raw meat eater which I certainly wouldn’t recommend anyway! Whilst meat contains ironsĀ etc, these can also be found in raw foods, so the need for meat is not really there.

OK, I know it would be terribly boring only eating raw foods all the time and that is why I didn’t go through with iteven if it was the fastest way to lose weight, as I knew I would not be able to commit it although it is one of the fastest ways to lose weight. I lack serious will power. I did become a vegetarian for four years and then gave it all up for a bacon sandwich! But that’s another story!

But I do think there are many advantages in eating raw foods as well as the fastest way to lose weight and I can understand why people would commit to such a diet. I felt so good when I was only eating raw foods and not only did my body change dramatically in 7 days but also my skin, hair and nails did to!

When you are only eating raw foods you are only eating things there are healthy, like fruit and vegetables so it makes sense that it is one of the fastest way to lose weight! However you don’t have to go to the extreme of only eating raw foods, I would just vary it so you can have both. A good way of getting raw food is through juicing. You can juice most common fruit and vegetable and this is a tasty way of getting high nutrient raw food into your diet. We will talk about the benefits of juicing again, but for now I will sign off.
